Why Should I believe?

Is Nibali's Time Trial credible?
Nibali rides for a team run by Vinokourov a known and unrepentant doper.
Cycling news has an article today that talks of Nibali's prodigious leap in condition for the tour.

Everything that was said as proof of Lance Armstrong doping can also be said of Froome. Perhaps I just wasn't paying attention but Froome seemed to come from nowhere. At least Lance was a former World Champion. Now Froome is dominating time trials and crushing every one going up the mountains. Where have I seen this before? Now we begin hearing rumors about being given special allowance for medications. Déjà vu all over again

As far as I can see SKY despite their claims to the contrary does nothing to promote a clean sport. When they fire anyone who admits to doping in the past they are merely enforcing The Code of Silence.

It's not that I don't believe cycling is cleaner now than during Lance's heyday. I just don't think the forces driving riders to cheat have changed - highly Competitive athletes, drugs that work & are hard to detect & worst of all a system that prefers to look the other way because Lance, Froome or whoever is making a lot of money for everyone.

One the one hand, Nibbles was tested 22 times, according to Le Monde. And his biological password is apparently perfect.

On the other hand, I was watching "The Armstrong Lie," and Armstrong (of course) knew exactly how long EPO stays in the human system. Surprisingly, it's not that long, like 3 or 4 hours, so if someone dosed before a long stage, or used a small enough dose that would dissipated before controls at the end of the stage, they might get away with it.

And Lance was testes how many times? I think these guys know what the limits are and then stay just below then. And IMHO this is aided and abetted by the Organizations running professional cycling.

Never going to stamp out doping.

The top 20 in any GT and highly suspect.

This is what Davey would do with them.
