Davey has followed bike racing for around 70 years now.

Never once has he heard a victorious rider say "I couldn't have
done it without my Colnago/Masi/Pinarello/Etc. bike frame.

Ergo, given that a bike is built conscientiously around a
reasonable contemporary frame. it doesn't matter a Monkey's Toss
what"Bike" he rode.

Ergo, it's incredibly dumb to get sucked in by self serving
advertizing and pay X thousands of Roubles more for a bike which
on the road performs little or no better than a less expensive
one when one is shelling out ones own hard earned cash.

I always find it amusing at the bike store when I see well-off weekend
riders, 20-30lbs overweight handing over large amounts of $$ to save 2 lbs
on the bike.
